  • Supported soap type: Only liquid hand soaps are supported. Do not fill with foaming soap or any alcohol-based product, including hand sanitizer.
  • Max soap holding capacity: 12 fl. oz
  • Network Connectivity: 2.4 GHz only, 802.11 b/g/n. Does not support 5GHz networks or connecting to ad-hoc (or peer-to-peer) Wi-Fi networks.
  • Cleaning: Device can be cleaned with a dry or damp cloth, or rinsed in the sink.
  • Water Resistance: Amazon Smart Soap Dispenser was tested to meet the IP66 standard. Water projected in powerful jets against the dispenser from any direction had no harmful effects. The dispenser should not be immersed in water.
  • Battery life: A single charge lasts up to three (3) months (based on ten dispenses a day with no Echo device paired) or up to 2.66 months (based on ten dispenses a day with an Echo device paired). Battery life varies based on device settings and usage. Pairing an Echo device will reduce battery life.
  • Setup Technology: Amazon Wi-Fi simple setup enables customers to connect smart devices to their Wi-Fi network in a few easy steps. Wi-Fi simple setup is another way Alexa is always getting smarter.
  • Echo Compatibility: Amazon Smart Soap Dispenser is compatible with Echo (2nd Gen and above), Echo Dot (2nd Gen and above), Echo Plus, Echo Show, Echo Spot, Echo Input. Echo Studio, and Echo Flex. Amazon Smart Soap Dispenser is not currently compatible with Echo Glow, Echo Frames, Echo Buds, Echo Auto, Echo Sub, and Echo Link.

With variable dispensing, you can choose from 3 different amounts of soap to be dispensed. The farther down you place your hand from the nozzle, the more soap you'll get.
