The brushless motors were specially designed for the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 to ensure optimum performance and a long life. The 15 W motors operate at 28,000 rpm in stabilised flight, which corresponds to 3,300 rpm for the propellers. The motor rotation speed can vary between 10,350 and 41,400 rpm.
This kit includes a motor with electronic card, with an eco-friendly 8-bit microcontroller and a 10-bit ADC controller to manage rotation speed. It also includes three long metal screws and three short metal screws. The long metal screws hold the electronic card to the motor, and the three short screws hold the motor to the central cross.
