Compared to Energy Saving, Energy Saving 2.0 takes energy saving efficiency to the next level and increases up to 26 times the total duration of the dash cam’s Parking Surveillance mode. The dash cam conserves energy by going on standby when entering Parking Surveillance mode and wakes up to record events triggered by impacts only.
Alerts the driver of upcoming speed and red light cameras.
Using the GPS data in Dashcam, it can precisely pinpoint the vehicle’s location and routes with its driving speed on the map.
The GPS helps you accurately assess the status of the accident by providing you with the vehicle speed, the direction of the collision and the severity of impact.
The DASH CAM not only records driving footage but can also be used to track and recall past driving routes whether it be work or holiday routes.

Additional features and accessories to enhance your Thinkware Dash Cam experience.
Requires Hardwiring Cable or OBD II Power Cable and installation for Parking Surveillance mode (professional installation recommended)
Parking Surveillance mode is automatically activated when you turn off the ignition, and captures footage when a motion or impact is detected so you have video evidence of mishaps like hit-and-runs while you’re away from your vehicle.
Optional Radar Module is sold separately
When in Energy Saving Mode 2.0, the Radar Module allows the dash cam to extend its Parking Surveillance mode duration by reducing the power consumption. When a motion is detected by the Radar Module, the dash cam wakes up and gets ready to record.
If an impact is detected, a 20 second video (10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the impact) is saved in a dedicated folder on the MicroSD card. When no impacts are detected, the dash cam does not save the footage and resumes Energy Saving Mode 2.0.
